Deuba-Poudel rivalry caused NC meeting suspension

Kathmandu:  Nepali Congress Central Committee meeting has been postponed. Since the senior leaders could not come to the consensus on satisfying distribution of shares to their concerned intra-party factions, they put off the meeting.

The party president Deuba and senior leader Poudel could not conclude their argument on fair distribution of numbers between their factions from 29-member committee.

The president Deuba was supposed to be fixing 60-40 distribution of the shares for central committee membership but the meeting could not wrap up the agenda.
