Triton Fair: The Paramount Hub for Students  

Kathmandu: The Triton Fair was held in capital under the aegis of Triton International High School and Triton College on Friday. The students from different schools and colleges, teachers, local communities including many social organizations participated in varied events of the fair.

The fair was jointly inaugurated by the chairperson of National Examination Board, Dr. Chandramani Poudel, chairperson of Triton College Mr. Vishwanath Prasad Shah and principal of Triton College Prof. Dr. Bihari Binod Pokharel. Dr. Poudel was the chief guest of the program.

On the occasion, the chief guest, Dr. Poudel emphasized the crucial role of Triton College in quality education. The college chairperson Mr. Shah expressed that the college management team was focused on making Triton College as the paramount destination for high quality education.  

Principal Pokharel concentrated his views on the significance of extracurricular activities, apart from theoretical knowledge of classroom, for holistic growth and development of pupils’ personalities.  

Director of the college, Mr. Tarunpratap Shah highlighted the unique qualities of education Triton School and College offer to the students which were diametrically different from the rest of academic institutions in the country.    

“The one-day fair offered students an opportunity for sharpening and promoting their creative skills through different sessions and activities including food stalls, singing, dance and drama,” the college administrator Ritu Neupane quoted as saying.

In addition, including food items, indoor games and varied items for fun were the attractions of the fair.  More than a thousand visitors visited the fair. The college administration confirmed that the event of this kind will take place annually.
