NC Street Protest: Alarm to the Government

Kathmandu: The major opposition party Nepali Congress has taken to the street as a protest across the country against the monopoly of the ruling Nepal Communist Party.

The wide-body scam, medical education bill, the controversial steps on Nirmal Panta’s rape and murder case among others  have forced the opposition spectrum to  lambast the government. NC has been demanding for the rational probe against the aforementioned scams as well as guarantee of justice to the victim of inhumane actions.  

The one-day protest was led by senior NC leaders in their concerned districts. Likewise, senior leader Ramchandra Poudel and other youth leaders were leading the protest in Tanahun. NC vice-president Bimalendra Nidhi attended in Dhanusha.  

General secretary Dr.  Shashanka Koirala went to address in Nawalparasi. NC spokesperson Vishwaprakash Sharma reached out Chitwan protest whereas youth leader Gagan Thapa managed to lead the protest in Kaski. Former general secretary Krishna Prasad Sitaula was assigned for Jhapa. Central committee member Dr. Shekhar Koirala was leading the demonstrators in Morang district.
